Afghanistan has had several years of drought that has contributed to its food shortage and mass internal migration. Access to sufficient and clean water is at a critical stage. Families are forced to get their drinking water from polluted gullies and walk miles to fetch water from distant wells.
Shared Humanity has drilled six wells at the request of village and community leaders who have promised to protect the machinery and to ensure that the water will be free and available for all.
Shared Humanity USA needs your support in raising critical funds to drill new fresh water wells and provide the necessary maintenance to existing wells that thousands of people rely on. We ask you to share your humanity and make a donation to help supply immediate relief. Every contribution truly makes a difference, though it takes time...like drops in a bucket.
